Loom Studio
About Loom

A studio built around one idea: get out of the way.

Loom Studio started in 2016 as a two-person wedding team. Today we're four photographers working out of one small studio - still shooting every wedding the same way we did the first one.

We built Loom because every studio we shot for wanted us to shoot like everyone else.

Mara Voss founded Loom Studio after ten years shooting for other people's brands. The idea was simple: keep the team small, keep the editing consistent, and never let a gallery leave the studio looking like a template.

That's still the whole pitch. We shoot weddings, portraits, and editorial work the same unhurried way - close attention, minimal direction, and a lot of trust in natural light.

What We Believe

Three things we don't compromise on.

Shot, not staged

We photograph what's actually happening. Direction is light, never forced expressions or fake candids.

Edited in-house

No outsourced retouching. The four of us grade every gallery ourselves, to the same warm palette.

Small by design

We take on a limited number of weddings each year so every couple gets the full studio's attention.
